Experience
-
I've had the privilege of receiving mentorship from the Head Creative Couture Patternmaker in couture design and construction. My role involved assisting in the creation of intricate couture patterns, collaborating on fittings and alterations for high-profile dresses, and contributing to toile production for pattern refinement. I've also been acquiring essential skills in couture construction, including corset design and understanding fabric nuances.
-
I actively participated in various aspects of the design process, including assisting in fittings and alterations for garments, contributing design ideas for made-to-measure and VIP client projects, and creating detailed sketches and technical drawings. I had the opportunity to shadow the Creative Director to learn new techniques and gain valuable insights. Additionally, I played a role in developing uniform designs for luxury hotel locations in Costa Rica and Los Cabos.
-
I led the implementation of a company-wide fabric organization system, created fabric binders for 700+ fabrics, and introduced fabric movement tracking forms. I also played a key role in the Recycled Jean campaign, overseeing the collection of jeans, assisting with pattern creation, and finalizing bustier production. Additionally, I contributed to the design presentation for the Resort '22 collection by conducting research, creating fashion illustrations, and proposing deadstock fabrics.
